Jerry Cave is the founder and CEO of Cave Communications, a Web design, marketing and magazine publishing business based in Glen Echo, MD. Jerry has worked in sales and marketing for nearly two decades. His extensive experience in radio sales, magazine publishing, direct mail and content management offer his customers the level of experience they need to capture bigger sales in today's challenging business environment. As a former manager with WTOP Radio and Infinity Broadcasting, Jerry helped grow a lot of Washington-area businesses by listening to his client's concerns. Jerry's mantra of "Let me help you grow your business" is what many of his clients need and come to expect. As a business owner himself, Jerry knows that success in the marketplace these days means having an effective, working Internet strategy, paired with effective strategies for print, branding, marketing and search engine optimization that pulls customers in and keeps them coming back. Washington Home & Garden, the up-market, 100,000-circulation niche magazine that Jerry founded in 2003 for the affluent area marketplace, went online in 2007 as WHGMag.com and now pulls in more than 360,000 unique visits per year. A companion Internet business Jerry founded, CaveWebworks, specializes in effective Web design and Search Engine Optimization to get his clients Web sites noticed. Jerry is a native Washingtonian, a member of the Washington Board of Trade and the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. Jerry and his wife Sheila have two grown sons and live in Potomac, Md. Jerry is a graduate of Tulane University.
Sheila Cave is co-owner of Cave Communications as well as the owner of Fitness by Sheila. She oversees the day to day operations of both www.cavewebworks.com and Washington Home & Garden magazine online, www.whgmag.com . She gathers content for whgmag.com and coordinates the activity on creating & optimizing our client’s web sites. A native Washingtonian she attended area schools and is A.C.E. Certified for personal training, lifestyles and nutrition. She is the proud mother of Sean & Connor who are both Eagle Scouts. She was the counsleor for the fitness merit badge for Troop 706 and certified hundreds of scouts for this essential badge on their path to Eagle. While she works very hard at both businesses she still places family as number one whether it is her children or her large extended family all over Montgomery County. On weekends she is often seen leading a group of other women on hikes and runs along the C & O Canal.
Lee Kelly is the Sales Director of Cave Webworks and WHG, where he's worked since 2003. A native Washingtonian who grew up in Takoma Park, MD., Lee's extensive knowledge of the area and multitude of contacts from three decades of entrepreneurship as owner of a special events company and a Nautilus fitness company make him an asset to Cave Communications. For two decades Lee was also Senior Vice President of First Union Securities in Bethesda, Md. Lee attended Archbishop Carroll High School and the University of Maryland, and now coaches a rugby team at Gonzaga College High School which is ranked fourth in the United States. He lives in Burtonsville, MD. and is the father of three grown children.
